Q: Why did you write Insane Roots?
A: In difficult times, it was the encouragement of others that kept me going and enabled me to rise above my mother's distorted ideals to become the person I am today. It is my dream to offer the same encouragement and inspiration to those reading to never give up on their dreams. In life we are faced with many struggles. If we choose to think of them as lessons, they can become the very source of our strength.
